Blows My Mind

I truly can’t get over it

It just blows my mind

Have you ever in your life

Seen beauty of this kind?

 

When so much is unknown

and morals have been lost

do you ever think of

counting up the cost?

 

In that beauty out there

It’s God that I see

Looking down at us

In our fallen humanity

 

Because I know He cares

Does it makes me suspect

God truly has been saddened

By our blatant disrespect

 

It’s because He love us

In His Great Divinity

That He created all this 

Just for you and me!

Universe Beauty

Just look at the universe
of which our God‘s created

Though cultures may be diverse
why is He sometimes hated?

Do you see what I see
or do you brush it off?

When I say that’s eternity
at me do you scoff?

‘Cause all I see is beauty
whenever I look at it

I feel it’s my duty
in it to somehow fit

I thank God for this wonder
that unto us He gave

When next it rain and thunder
this image will I save!

Better To Be Hated

Better to be hated
for what you are
then be compensated
with being a star

Who is so loved
for what they’re not
the self they’ve gloved
is all but forgot

For when you shine
as a light untrue
all heaven Divine
knows you do

They can always see
the soul down deep
inside you and me
that eternity will keep

So you must remember
all those stories you tell
January through December
 will mean heaven or hell.

Together We

Together we walk
through this life
you as husband
me as wife

Together we face
each new day
hand in hand
come what may

Together we see
what God gave
all that us
He would save

Together we cherish
our abiding love
the highest blessing
we know of

Together we look
forward to all
the years ahead
great or small

Together we’ll go
walk streets of gold
side by side
in the eternal fold.

Hello, God?  It’s just me
who’s calling out Your name
’cause Your most precious Son
said it’s mine to claim

I need help, You see,
and He said You would
no matter what I’ve done
whether it’s bad or good

Hello, God?  Will You be
as loving as He said?
If I truly do repent
will those sins I shed?

I pray, God, to Thee
for the beauty of Your grace
to come down from heaven
and fill my empty space

Hello, God?  It’s just me
saying that I love You
in case You are listening
’cause Jesus said You do

And more than can be
it’s important that You know
the love to me given
to the world I’ll show!

The Angels For Us Pray

On our final Judgement Day
for us will angels pray

That God show us grace
and our sins He erase

With the covering of the Son
in all that He had done

Taking power over the grave
that mankind He would save

What to me He afford
when He became my Lord

So pray, dear angels, pray
that God to me display

The full compassion of His Son
when my judgement day has come!
