My Sunday Thoughts – Christmas Party Today
Today is our Christmas party at my mom and dad’s house. I love my family and enjoy any and every gathering that we have but Christmas is always the most special.
We have it early in December so that my parents can leave for Florida before the weather starts getting too bad. Dad has arthritis and the cold is something that he just can’t take anymore. At 82, I don’t blame him for wanting to get down in the warmth.
Although I have been sick on and off all last month, I thank God that I feel well enough to go today.
Therefore, I will be out of commission until later on this evening. If you leave me a comment, I promise to get back with you either tonight or tomorrow depending on what time we get home!
Peace, love and blessings,
Terri

So glad you got to go, Terri! And that you still have your parents to love…
Blessings!
Hope you get to feeling much better! Enjoy this love-ly season,
Maria
Thanks Maria! It was fun, mostly. My little sister, 16 yrs younger, spoiled my mom’s fun at one point and she was pretty mad about. I felt bad for her ’cause she tries so hard to get everybody to join in
But we just ignored my sister for the rest of the evening and let her know what a heel she was for doing that to mom. I am blessed to still have them with me and I get pretty protective of them these days.
Blessings, Terri
Terri, I understand why you would be getting protective of them. This is something I feel towards my father-in-law.
About your family Christmas–nothing is perfect in this life, is it? Someday, however, everything will be…
Amen, Maria, that it will be
Blessings and love, Terri
