Magical Wedding

When out walking the other night
I came upon a wonderous sight

For what appeared before my eyes
was the greatest of all surprise

‘Twas there that a magical wedding
was taking place before sun setting

A prince and princess of fairies
marching there pretty as you please

Imps and gnomes around them danced
elves and pixies tumbled and pranced

Seemed as nothing could ever destroy
the celebration of their great joy

And so I took a step back
lest they think I would attack

As I watched the wedding procession
found it was without an exception

The most splendid thing ever seen
in any place that I’d been

And then I quietly backed away
as their flutes continued to play!

    • Thanks Kellie! I just went on google image search and typed in fairies. It took me a while to page through them all but I’ve got some great ones that you’re gonna love!! I’m working on material for that book and thought I’d throw them out there to see what response I get :) hugs and hearts, Terri
