Terri, I remember being unhappy because we were made to read Ethan Frome in high school. Much later on I read another of her novels, The Age of Innocence. It’s wonderful, has a beautiful ending. It’s been made into a movie a couple of times, I believe, but the one I watched didn’t capture her Christian heart as well as the book. Ethan Frome was made into a great flick – I think William Hurt played in it.
