Innocence Found – Hay(na)ku
In
the face
of a child
*
Is
there peace
that is undefiled
*
*
Their
capacity is
great to love
*
With
the joy
of angels above
*
Where
purity of
innocence is found
*
In
their simplicity
that does abound
*
Within
the children
there’s no hate
*
No
wars to
ever need debate
*
Much
from them
adults can learn
*
If
we’d follow
them in turn
*
May
each day
God you bless
*
Always
with more
and never less
*

Confusion – Hay(na)ku
Confusion
rules me
as never before
Whether
I shouldn’t
turn back or
Decide
to keep
sailing on for
The
prize awaiting
on distant shore
Needing
only faith
and nothing more
Fear
haunts me
to the core
Greed
controls me
I’m its whore
While
my soul
sins does store
It’s
of God
I must implore
Wash
me clean
that purity restore
Embrace
me again
One I adore
Don’t
let me
run like before!

Peccadilloes – A-Z Challenge; P-Archives
Peccadilloes?
Yes, I
have a few
Some
are kept
out of view
Others
are seen
that’s very true
I’ve
accepted them
how about you?

Simple
is faith
in God found

His return
upon earthly ground!
