they open up the mind

to all the possibilities

that ingenuity may find

Ideas are sorta like ice-cream

sometimes sticky but oh so sweet

when devoured with delight

they are hard to defeat

Ideas are like icicles

with a few hanging around

that keep on dripping

until fruition is found

Ideas are invitations

the world to explore

just one good idea

who could ask for more?

Things You Can Love

At any given moment
just remember out there

Are a thousand things
we could love anywhere

Take for an instance
a cone of ice-cream

The vanilla and chocolate
swirls are a dream

Like watching a child
who is at play

As their little imagination
does carry them away

While watching a cloud
drift through the sky

Or playing with them
a game of I-spy

There are so many
things we can love

When life’s a gift
from our Father above!
