How The Devil Became The Devil

Know how the devil began
was because with pride he ran

Before the Heavenly Father’s throne
and said, “You’re not alone

The One they should adore!”
as he was demanding more

“Your pride’s led you astray,”
is what the Father did say

“And that you have no doubt
from heaven I cast you out!”

So listen to a little advice
with God you should play nice

And leave all that pride behind
’cause He doesn’t change His mind!
