What?!

What?!  I can’t play?

What did you say?

This is fair?  No way!

What did I do today?

Why did you punish me?

No way should I be!

But I don’t even agree!

This ain’t fair, you see?!

It’s because I didn’t do

what you told me to?

It’s not fair of you!

Now I’m sad and blue!!

Guess I’m just gonna go

to my room and throw

a fit just so you know

’cause you won’t let me go!!

    1. Thanks Ina! To be honest, I was trying to be funny about the exclamation point but when I came back to view the poem the lady by the sea was there, lol. I didn’t know that picture would change but that made the poem even funnier. 🙂 laughs…

    1. Well, to be honest, I wrote the poem as a frustrated child speaking but the picture was one of those hidden ones and I didn’t see it until after I published the poem based on the exclamation point that I first saw, lol! It actually turned out to be okay though. Thanks for the compliment! 🙂

    1. Stu, I know, right? Silly me! I thought about going back and changing the picture back to an exclamation point but decided to leave it alone. I did, however, do it with the second one I wrote ’cause there was no way it would have worked with the picture of the lady, lol. Thanks for your comments and I liked your story too. Peace and blessings, Terri

    1. Saurabh, Thanks for your comment. it’s so funny that I wrote the poem based on the exclamation with one meaning and when the picture changed it brought a whole new meaning to it. I guess it works both ways though, lol. Blessings…

    1. Thanks so much for the wonderful compliment! I am blessed by it. It’s not hard to relate with a sad child, I have 3 of them and 3 grandchildren, lol. Peace and blessings…
