Silence Me

You can never
silence me forever

I will speak out
not whisper but shout

The injustice of all
the innocent that fall

Upon whom you prey
all through every day

For children they are
not adults by far

Just little girls who
deserve better than you

Although you beat me
you’ll never defeat me

As their plight I
to high heaven cry

Letting the world know
their charity to show

The injusice of it all
is my heart’s call

I want everyone to see
this is a tragedy!

    1. Thanks Darlin’! I wanted to do something for the event and didn’t have the time or mindset to write a whole blog post right now. Glad you liked it! Hugs and kisses…

  1. :O Our pingback didn’t go through! It posted, maybe ’cause I scheduled it instead of posting immediately? Sorry this is late, but we posted your poem (was supposed to pingback)

    1. Elia, That is fine! I wasn’t mad at ya’, lol. I hope you liked it and happy to help out! My upheaval should be getting better soon, I pray! We go to court on Monday over the custody issue and hopefully the Judge will listen to Sara about the abuse. Say a prayer for us please 🙂 Blessings, Terri
