my feelings to say
Work hard every day
try not to dismay
And come what may
I hope and pray
Before I go away
this message I’ll convey
The Truth, Life and Way
gave all I have today
The words that I say
are to His glory display!

The first concept is very strange -> poetry is your way of saying work hard everyday? wow. to me, poetry gets in the way of me doing anything i’m supposed to do. it’s just there, and i have to spit it out, and i don’t do my chores and i don’t write business correspondence that has to get done, and i don’t work on my screenplay. i have to go walk my dogs now. i have to!! 😮
LOL! After I respond, I’m gonna have to read this poem through your eyes and see what I said. No, poetry is my way of expressing my feelings about things. Of course I write some about others and their feelings too. I work hard every day persuing my poetry. 🙂 There are days that I get nothing else done too, lol! Now go let you dog do his/her business!
