When every blessing of God
is held out before you
It is your choice alone
what with them you do
When He is there offering
His every gift with love
Why then is He always
the last One we think of?
When it is the world
that forth from Him burst
Why then do we not
in life put Him first?
When it has simply been
in Him alone to trust
Why does it not seem
to us as a must?
In this mortal existence
fraught with strife and sin
There in only One Way
that we will every win
Why not take a moment
out of your busy day
Give it some thought
and maybe even pray?
