Terri, this is beautiful and I, too, am sorry for your loss…my Mom passed away last month, she was 90, and my Dad is still going strong at 92, but he misses “his gal” of 70 years. It’s also surreal losing a parent. Even though we are thankful there is no more suffering and pain, it takes time to accept the absence of the physical presence. My prayers are with you and your family~xx
Lauren, thank you so much for the kind thoughts. I’m sorry for your loss as well!!! My parents are in the 80’s and we are all preparing ourselves for that time but only as much as humanly possible, I don’t think you can ever be fully prepared for the void that it leaves in you life. Blessings and prayers for your grief as well!! hugs, Terri

May sadness be turned to peace. Hugs. (mentioned that Barbie in a post a while back – there’s an on-line petition. St Jude’s is hope.)
thanks Karen! and I think the Barbie idea is an absolutely fabulous idea – do you have the link to that petition? I would love to have it if you do!! hugs, Terri

Here’s a link to the post – which was for “humor” – and serious about the kids and doll. There’s multiple links there I think, about the sick child and doll.
