Mission Accomplished!

First I want to thank you dear friends who commented on my last post and gave me such loving encouragement!!!!  God bless you all.

We had our Grand Opening of the shop today.  I changed the name, again.  I think it’s pretty cool, I called it Stallery, which stands for Sara and Terri Gallery.  So here is the link:  http://www.etsy.com/shop/Stallery

I am exhausted at the moment but I wanted to come on here real quick to share the good news with my friends.  If I don’t have the chance to do so at more length, I wish you all a safe and blessed Thanksgiving!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Love and hugs,

Victory Sometimes is Short Lived

As you will see from my two latest poems, our victory celebration of dad coming home from the nursing home did not last as long as I would have liked for it to.  But, I’ll still take it!!!!

We are thrilled to have him back, in more ways than just his physical presence!  Thank you all for your prayers.  Dad is as much back to his old self as possible at the age of 83, lol.  Good to have him home!

My Penny is back in the hospital.  I’ll go into that more later, I’m still a little too upset right now to expound on it more than that.

My eldest, Shawna, is having her struggles too.  She is working harder than she ever has in her life to make a living for her and the kids.  I think she is tired and that’s a big part of the depression that is mounting on her right now.

Please say a prayer for them both.  I always know that I can count on my cyber-friends to help me lift others up when needed and it means so very much to me.

I have been working tirelessly on my catalog for the holidays and will have a shop open on Etsy, planning on tomorrow or Sunday for the “Grand Opening”, called What’s Up Designs.  I will post the link as soon as it’s up and running.

Love, hugs and blessings to you all,

The Latest and Greatest

Hi everybody!!

Let me start with dad.  He is getting better, more alert and mobile.  The compressed vertebra near his tailbone is killing him but that’s better than having a broken back, which is what they first thought.

Thank you everyone who has sent their love, thoughts and prayers!!!!!!!!!!!  They have helped tremendously.

I have been working my tail off on getting together a little e-catalog of my items for sale that I can send off to people upon request.

It’s been an experience trying to learn how to use this camera, get the pictures downloaded, fine tuned and view able.

Once I get that done, I will have to work up a price sheet to attach to it all.  But, in the meantime, I thought I would share some of it with you all.

Here’s what I’ve been up to:

Puzzle Wall Hangings (I haven’t worked out how I’m gonna frame them or what I’ll use but have a few cool ideas):

Here are some of the clay items (better pictures this time, I hope):

Have I overloaded you yet?

Here are some of the regular things I’ve done too:

That should give you a good idea of what will be included in “catalog”, lol.

I’ve been very hard at work.  It’s extremely time-consuming and I apologize for ignoring my friends during this time but, with Christmas fast approaching, I have to get this done.  Honestly, I should have been working on it for the last 6 months since it takes me longer than normal people to accomplish some of this stuff due to the MS interference with cognitive and motor skills 😦

Anybody who would like to receive an e-catalog to look at, just let me know where to e-mail it to and I will be happy to provide you one.  I will try my best to keep up with your comments and delete the address from showing to the public.

My greatest love and hugs to you all!!

God bless, Terri

Sharing Time; Dad, Jewelry & New Endeavors

Well, dad is in an extended care facility now.  He’s going through re-hab and sleeping a lot.  I’m sure that’s partially due to the pain meds and partially the depression.  We will just have to keep an eye on it.  At least I’m not crying all the time about it.

I have some new jewelry pictures to share with you and also the new creative endeavors that I am pursuing.  Shouldn’t have spent the money it took to get started but I figured that Christmas is coming up – people shopping for gifts and me needing gifts for the 6 females in the family.

I hoped, too, it would help jar me out of this depression.  I hope you like!!

Love and hugs to you all, Terri

Can’ see the beads very well but this is made with ice blue and lavender beads.

This is some variety of jade green stone.

This one is of turquoise and coral colored stone.

Various colors of green glass.

You can’t tell it but the beads I used in this are those iridescent kind that change colors in the light.

Turquoise, shell and bone.

I have been working on some wire art pieces and this is one.

This is made of shell, tinted in rainbow colors, and buffalo bone.

I used buffalo bone, leather and wood in this one.

Here is another of green glass.

Here we have glass, ceramic and wood.

Shell, turquoise and coral on memory wire.

Just used glass and acrylic on this set but I thought it turned out really pretty.

Same with this one too.

And, of course, this it “stabilized” turquoise.  (whatever that means)

Now, you have to remember, when looking at the next few, that I am a total novice when it comes to working with polymer clay but I think I’m off to a good start anyway.  Let me know what you think of them, be honest too, lol!

was so mad when I started to put these two sets together.  I had made matching beads for my “Pandora” bracelet but when I went to put them on, they were too narrow to get the chain through.  So I had to sit there this morning with a pair of scissor and a Phillip’s head screwdriver, since I’m ill-equipped on tools, and bore the holes out until they would fit!  I was a little testy about it but I think they look great now that I got it done.

Well, I’m off to run an errand before picking Sara up from school.

Thanks for all the support and lovely comments, you are all much too good to me!!

Love and mega hugs,

Hi everyone!  I’ve been missing you all very much.

Wanted to drop you a note and say that although I have been too busy to post or reply, I have read your comments along the way.

I also want to apologize for not responding or returning the visits.

I have been through the gambit in the last few weeks.

Happy, nervous, anxious, sick, and dealing with teen-aged anxiety!

The preparations for the sale have kept me extremely busy.  Gathering, pricing, inventory, etc.  So much involved and I have been too worn out to do much of anything else.

But I didn’t want any of you to worry about me and decided to take the time to fill you in.

I promise to be back on a regular schedule as soon as I get through my jewelry sale.  It was going to be this weekend, but with the hurricane effects due in I’m not sure if I should wait for another week or not.  I hate to waste the money advertising and then be rained out all weekend!!

God bless you all, my friends!

Love and hugs,

I Have a Thought/Question; Need Your Advice

Remember when I showed you some of my creations, like this example?  Well, I have a whole lot more than just this and the time has come to start selling some of them.  So I was thinking about doing it online but I’m not sure how I should approach it.

I was thinking about starting a new blog that is specifically for “my creations” and doing everything through PayPal.

I need some advice, anybody got some knowledge in this area?  Do you think they would sell?

I have them reasonably priced, I think, and would just do free shipping beings that they aren’t all that heavy and wouldn’t cost that much to ship.

Love and hugs,

My Jewelry Creations!

Okay, I finally figured out my phone and downloaded some of my jewelry creations onto my computer.  As I promised to some, I will start sharing some of them with you.  I hope you like my designs!!  I am going to do the pics in thumbnail size on this post but you can click to enlarge the ones you want to see better 🙂

There are a couple of pieces in here that were not designed from scratch but rather something that I purchased, tore apart and re-designed.
