Internet Friend – 30 Day Letter Writing Challenge; Letter 8

However can I choose one
to pick of all you
for there is no way
that this I can do

I have so very many
new friends that I’ve met
since I first started posting
this blog on the net

And truly I do cherish
each of you out there
while I personally have started
with some my life to share

Want you all to know
what to me you mean
because you are the best
and there’s no in between

Thank you all for being
so caring and so kind
for without all of you
I’d have lost my mind!

Sunset at The North Pole – Newest E-mail From Mom – Awesome Picture!!!

Sunset at the North Pole
This is one of the rarest pictures that you will ever see in your life
when the moon was closest to the earth. The date the picture
was taken was Thursday, 13th May 2011 .

This is the sunset at the North Pole with the moon at its closest point last week.

a scene you will probably never get to see in person, so take a moment and
enjoy God at work at the North Pole.
And, you also see the sun below the moon, an amazing photo and not one easily
duplicated. You may want to pass it on to others so they can enjoy it.

The Chinese have a saying that goes something like this:
‘When someone shares with you something of value,
you have an obligation to share it with others!’
I just did ….your turn.

A Single Candle

Life’s to be shared
and all it contains

The joys and happiness
along with the pains

A thousand candles may
be lit from one

With thousands of people
met before life’s done

Making their day bright
with a little smile

May give them joy
for the extra mile

It takes little effort
some happiness to give

To another person while
this life we live!

Plenty Hugs To Share

I have plenty hugs to share

Just to let you know I care

Even from a big ole’ Polar Bear

Are there hugs galore to spare

To be found most anywhere

Even kitty wants to share

I don’t worry if people stare

‘Cause I will hug you just beware!

If more hugs people would share

A world of hate we could repair!!

For all those who need a hug today!!!!!!

7 % – Another Great E-Mail From Mom

A Holy man was having a conversation with the Lord one day and said,
‘Lord, I would like to know what Heaven and Hell are like.’

The Lord led the holy man to two doors.

He opened one of the doors and the holy man looked in.

In the middle of the room was a large round table..

In the middle of the table was a large pot of stew,

which smelled delicious and made the holy man’s mouth water.

The people sitting around the table were thin and sickly.

They appeared to be famished.
They were holding spoons with very long handles
that were strapped to their arms
and each found it possible to reach
into the pot of stew and take a spoonful.

But because the handle was longer than their arms,
they could not get the spoons back into their mouths.

The holy man shuddered at the sight of their misery and suffering.

The Lord said, ‘You have seen Hell.’
They went to the next room and opened the door.
It was exactly the same as the first one.

There was the large round table with the large pot of
stew which made the holy man’s mouth water.

The people were equipped with the same long-handled spoons,
but here the people were well nourished and plump,   laughing and talking.

The holy man said, ‘I don ‘t understand.

‘It is simple,’ said the Lord. ‘It requires but one skill…

You see, they have learned to feed each other.

The greedy think only of themselves.’

When Jesus died on the cross, he was thinking of you.

Its estimated 93% won’t forward this.

If you are one of the 7% who will,
forward this with the title ‘7%’ .

I’m in the 7%

Remember that

I will always share my  spoon with you.

The Happiest People

“The Happiest people DO NOT necessarily have the ‘BEST’ THINGS.
They simply APPRECIATE the things they have.”   – Warren Buffet,
the world’s second richest man who has donated $31 billion to charity.

The happiest of all people are
those the most generous by far.

They rarely have the “best” things
no fur coats or diamond rings.

They only desire what they need
and do not fall into greed.

They’re people who really do live
with a heart to only give.

They’re not ones to ever take
nor the helpless do they forsake.

With a hand always ready to
do whatever they can do.

What they have they will share
go beyond what they can spare.

Even when their wealth is great
with generosity they do compensate.

And when they have much less
they’re equally willing others to bless.

Why?  Because that’s the key to true happiness!
