The Higher Power

Reap The Silence – Haiku

Cracking Up

I am cracking up

About to fall apart

With my overflowing cup

From the very start

If into pieces broken

What will they do

When words I’ve spoken

Were all but true

They have silenced me

For my own good

How it must be

And said I would

That is really all

I can now say

Until the final ball

Is put in play!

Just Another Word

My silence is
what worries you

But there’s nothing
you can do

When it is
just another word

For my pain
that goes unheard

In my suffering
I am alone

Through my silence
do I moan

And this hurt
has me unnerved

When its cause
is so undeserved

So this silence
is another word

For my pain
and suffering unheard!

It’s In The Silence

It’s in the silence
your eyes have said

Over a thousand words
from when we wed

No need for talking
when we are alone

Deep love for me
your face has shown

This is true friendship
that’s grounded and sincere

There’s no waiting for
any words to hear

The language of love
is spoken in silence

A friend reads volumes
contained in a glance

And I know Darling
you’re my loving friend

Who’ll be with me
until the very end!

Theme: Friends, Relationships, and Everyone around us.

Silence Me

You can never
silence me forever

I will speak out
not whisper but shout

The injustice of all
the innocent that fall

Upon whom you prey
all through every day

For children they are
not adults by far

Just little girls who
deserve better than you

Although you beat me
you’ll never defeat me

As their plight I
to high heaven cry

Letting the world know
their charity to show

The injusice of it all
is my heart’s call

I want everyone to see
this is a tragedy!
