The Life You Live (Revisited)

* I wrote this poem back in 2008 after watching a program about the skyrocketing numbers of homeless in America.  With so many families losing their houses, children sleeping in the streets and going to school with hope of a meal for the day, etc.  I cried through the whole thing and then sat down and wrote this poem.

  2. Hi!I have started off with your blog, with this beautiful post! What more can this blog offer, if the starts so impactful???
It is so true…the whole world is going through tough times, and homeless are growing in numbers….I can never truly feel their feelings, but it is sad, that their are houses spread over acres of land, and there is no space for a part of humanity…..that’s so partial and selfish!A beautiful poem, touched my heart!

    1. I’m so happy to have you on board and thank you for the wonder comment! I never had a lot of compassion for homelessness until I experienced it myself and understood what it was like first hand. It is a horrible place to be whatever the reason for it 😦 blessings, Terri
